* Case of Kombucha

Happy Friday! I couldn’t ask for better weather. This morning my studio was completely drenched in sunlight. Beautiful, and exciting, but almost too bright to sit in. I said almost. I decided to power through the rest of the Kombucha project. I now have a full case of waterless Kombucha tea, which is good for…. er. It was a fun project. I am now craving some Gingerberry.
When I my resource for fantastic photographic abilities home I will get pictures of each one, but for now: The Full Case.
* bottled (felt) kombucha

Another work in progress.
I should have researched a better way to remove labels from glass bottles before I started this part of the project. It was an obnoxious 45 minutes, razor in hand, stripping paper and glue with soap and water. The next step is to start ‘filling’ the bottles with my idea of ‘felted kombucha’. You see, I’ve begun drinking a bottle of kombucha on a (most)daily basis and really enjoying it. My sister turned me onto it after much convincing that it was not, in fact, a mushroom. And now I’ve turned Henry onto it.
I started thinking about making some faux-bucha and realized I had vessels already sitting in the recycling bin. Here they are so far.
