A quick shout of my gratitude to everyone and anyone who stopped by my booth at the Fremont Sunday Market yesterday. Was it me or was everyone in just a fabulous mood yesterday? I saw so many smiling faces!
To anyone who would like to get in touch with me please do so with this email address for now amanda.meyer at gmail.com I am looking forward to hearing your comments and especially ideas for projects. Right now I am planning out a better page to represent my paper flowers and other artistic decoration endeavors and my goal is to get that up this week.
And also, if you’re interested in the fun and exciting life of an artist follow amandafiebing on Twitter I promised I won’t hog your feed. Er.

For those of you in the Greater Seattle region, I will be showing/selling some of my work in paper and felt at the Fremont Sunday Market. Come stop by anytime from 10am until 5pm and check out my wares in the felt. Boy, I’m going with the stupid jokes must be tired. Must be time to rest up for the big day.
Wish me luck!

Shown here, the completed branch is backlit by a string of LED holiday lights.
This branch is full. Since the core of this project is decaying I thought it wise to limit the weight of my blossoms. In its entirety, it fits within the space of my apartment, however I’m considering breaking it up to make it a smaller and more dense cluster.

I’ve been rejuvenating some fallen oak branches with paper blossoms. Its moderately time consuming but great dexterity practice for paper sculptures I plan on diving into soon. I made the paper in a summer papermaking course at the University of Washington before I graduated. I still have tons of it.
